AutoScan Information

AutoScan Stations Worldwide

All satellite data in our charts is gathered by AutoScan Stations located around the world. A SatcoDX AutoScan station consists of one or more fixed dishes, a PC that is connected to these dish(es) and is running SatcoDX's proprietary scanning software, and a permanent Internet connection to feed scan results to our main SatcoDX servers. AutoScan stations operate continuously 24/7/365 and usually scan each satellite at least once every 3 hours.

AutoScan Software "SatcoDX Satellite Scanner"

- Remote Access with LogMeIn from 5 MAY 2009
- Basic Install of all required system files: SatcoDX AutoScan Setup.msi from 19 OCT 2009 Installs all system scan detection files needed for SatcoDX AutoScan - download into and run from your sss folder. This file includes SSS.dll version 1.3.1.0.

Are you interested in becoming an AutoScan station for SatcoDX? Do you have one or more fixed dishes that you use to receive satellite signals not currently covered by an existing AutoScan station? If so, then apply now! Keep in mind that you would need to have a PC that can run continuously and is always connected to the Internet. In most cases this would be a DSL connection or better. The necessary satellite PC card and scanning software would of course be provided by SatcoDX.
